The Original
Dr Pepper, coconut, lime and cream. Where it all began.
- Base
- Dr Pepper
- Time
- 3 minutes
- Mood
- Classic, Creamy
The drink that started a drive-thru movement. Spiced cherry soda meets toasted coconut and a squeeze of lime, then a slow pour of coconut cream that marbles through the ice. Balanced, nostalgic and dangerously easy to finish.
Method
- 1
Pack a tall glass to the rim with pebble ice.
- 2
Add the coconut syrup and lime juice first so they mix as the soda goes in.
- 3
Pour the Dr Pepper slowly down the side of the glass to keep the fizz.
- 4
Float the creamer over the top and give it a single slow stir.
- 5
Finish with a lime wedge on the rim.
